A compact fresh-water tank breather kit for campervans and RVs.

The breather lets air move into and out of the fresh water tank as it fills or empties, helping prevent vacuum or pressure problems.

Kit includes

• 20cm of opaque 12mm food-grade hose.
• Tank bulkhead connector with shut-off valve.
• Compatible garden-hose connector.
• Mesh end filter to help keep insects and debris out.

Installation

The tank connection commonly needs a hole of about 25mm. Measure the supplied fitting before drilling with a hole saw or step drill. Route the breather above the tank and where water cannot easily enter it.

Use suitable sealant or PTFE tape on compatible threaded joints, then fill and leak-test before use. Final self-containment compliance depends on the complete vehicle installation and inspection.
