Basic self-containment requirements for campervans

Water Supply System Fresh water storage in a secure, opaque and ventilated container. Capacity expectations may depend on your setup and inspector guidance.
Wastewater System Grey water storage in a secure, opaque container that is ventilated to the exterior and can be used to dispose of waste water hygienically.
Fixed Toilet A fixed toilet setup is required. A Fix-a-Potty™ bracket is designed to help secure a compatible portable toilet as part of a campervan toilet setup.
Sink A sink should be available for washing hands and dishes, with drainage to the wastewater storage container.
Rubbish Storage A secure rubbish container with a lid is recommended as part of a tidy self-contained campervan setup.
Ventilation System Ventilation can be provided through windows, fans or openable vents, depending on the vehicle setup.
